Expert5 capabilities
  • Approve the quote under a price cap

Approve the current quote so the human expert starts work — the ONLY operation that charges the Tendem account. It re-reads the live quote and approves only when it is at or under Max Price; anything else returns the quote as data with nothing charged. Call this only after a human or workflow policy has accepted a "quote" outcome.

  • Check a delegated task and advance it

Poll a delegated task until it needs something, and say what as data: a scoping question from Tendem (outcome "question"), a quote to decide on (outcome "quote"), or the finished result. Never spends money. Call this after delegating, and again whenever the outcome is "pending".

  • Delegate work to a human expert

Create a Tendem task for a vetted human expert from a plain-language request, optionally attaching input files. Nothing is charged: Tendem scopes the work and quotes a price first. Returns the task_id every later call needs. Call this exactly once per piece of work.

  • Reply to the expert service and continue

Answer Tendem's scoping question (from a "question" outcome), then keep advancing the task in the same call. Use the task_id from this conversation.

  • Wait for the verified result

Block until the verified result is ready and return it: markdown plus downloadable file URLs. Never spends money. Outcome "pending" means the work is still running — call again with the same task_id.

Task8 capabilities
  • Approve a task and commit the spend

Approve the scope and quote so a human expert starts work. This charges the Tendem account and requires explicit confirmation.

  • Create a task

Submit a brief. Tendem scopes and prices it — nothing is charged yet.

  • Get a task

Read a task snapshot once, including price and approval readiness

  • Get the cancel URL for a task

Get the Tendem UI URL where the user can cancel. This does not cancel anything by itself.

  • Get the contract for a task

Read the full scope and price the user would be approving

  • Get the result of a task

Fetch the result markdown plus downloadable file URLs

  • List tasks

List tasks on the account, useful for recovering task IDs

  • Wait for a task to change

Block until the task needs attention or finishes, using a bounded number of server-side waits

Chat2 capabilities
  • Read the chat for a task

Read the scoping conversation from a cursor

  • Send a message to a task

Answer a Tendem scoping question, add context, or tell Tendem to start

Account1 capabilities
  • Get the account

Read the account balance and generic top-up URL

File1 capabilities
  • Get a file upload URL

Get a short-lived folder URL for attaching input files to a task, then name them in a chat message
